TULSA, Okla. – Powering more than coffee, Oklahoma company creates coffee blends intended to capture the American spirit of hard-working oil and gas families.
When the day starts before the sunrises and ends well after it has set, brothers Josh and Trevor McCollom and business partner Kyle Martin had the idea to create a coffee brand that captures the hardworking-spirt of America’s oil and gas workers.
“Josh McCollom had an idea one night to create a specific brand of coffee that was made for and by oil and gas workers, you know the ‘Oilfield Folks,’” said Kelly McCollom, Trevor McCollom’s wife and Crude Coffee Inc. employee.
Crude Coffee Inc. offers nine different blends of premium roasted coffee sourced from around the world. Each blend is designed to specifically target a certain time or task within the oil and gas industry.
“Our customer love that our blends represent a part of their everyday jobs,” Kelly McCollom said. “Overall though, the customers love how fresh and flavorful our coffee is. So far, the only complaint is that usually, after one cup they are hooked.”
Crude Coffee Inc. also offers a variety of oil and gas industry based merchandise, with hats, t-shirts and coffee accessories sporting the Crude Coffee Inc. logo.
“One of the things that has really taken off for Crude is the specialty labeling of coffee for customers so that it can be used as a sales tool or given as a corporate gift,” Kelly McCollom said. “This fills a niche for a unique advertising opportunity for oil and gas companies across the globe.”
